EE customers can now get six months of Amazon Prime Video without paying a penny.
The mobile network already offers free limited time subscriptions to services such as BT Sport and Apple Music but this is the first time it’s added services from Amazon.
This new Prime Video deal is available to all new and existing pay monthly customers and there’s another great benefit of this offer.
EE says that anyone taking out the six-month plan will also get also get inclusive mobile data to watch content on Prime Video.
This means you can binge on movies and shows such as The Grand Tour from Amazon and never eat into your monthly internet usage.
Along with Prime Video, there’s also the offer of a free six-month subscription to MTV Play which also includes inclusive data.
If you don’t fancy either of these deals but still enjoy streaming on the move then there is one final offering from EE.
The firm says that customers can now take advantage of a new Video Data Pass allowing them to enjoy streaming without having to worry about their data allowance on some of the UK’s most popular video services.
These include Netflix, Prime Video, BT Sport, MTV Play and TVPlayer with EE saying that more services are on the way.
This pass costs £8.99 per month but could be worth a look if you use any of the listed streaming services.
Speaking about the update, Marc Allera, CEO of BT’s Consumer division, said: “It’s our ambition to offer our customers unrivalled choice, with the best content, smartest devices, and the latest technology through working with the world’s best content providers.
“In offering all EE pay monthly mobile customers Amazon Prime Video and MTV Play access, in addition to BT Sport and Apple Music – we’re providing them with a wealth of great entertainment they can experience in more places thanks to our superfast 4G network, and soon to be launched 5G service.
“So, if they want music on a Monday, telly on a Tuesday, films on a Friday or sport on a Saturday, we’ve got something for them.”
This latest offer of free content and unlimited data to watch it comes as Sky recently announced its new Watch service.
Coming via Sky Mobile, this new plan offers unlimited data when watching content on apps such as Sky Go, Sky Kids and Sky Sports.
This means you can watch a whole F1 Grand Prix or series of Game of Thrones without using a single MB of your monthly data allowance.
Sky says that Watch is available to all Sky Mobile customers, although what you can access will depend on your Sky TV subscription.
